HP Mini Notebook and Printer Bundle Giveaway - Create Change!

This year I am creating change by inspiring children and providing creative outlets for my students. I work in a school where some students live daily in situations that are not ideal. Teaching art and opportunities for careers related to art opens doors and possibilities for my students who might feel like they have no opportunities otherwise. The creative outlet that art provides is also an excellent coping mechanism that enables many children to cope with difficult circumstances. I love seeing the joy on their faces as they indulge in creative arts and feel proud of their accomplishments. Just like no art project is ever alike, no two students are alike, so one by one in small or sometimes large ways, I am working to positively affect their lives. It is thrilling to give my students the freedom to be who they are and not be bound by their circumstances. I love my job and I am always looking for ways to enhance my teaching.

Over the past year, the district I work in has faced some difficult realities, including a HUGE budget deficit. Because of this, I have been working without a budget and we have not been able to purchase new supplies. This computer and printer would help provide me and my students with new opportunities in technology to learn new mediums and inspire them in unique and creative ways. Since we have very limited funds, we have not been able to print projects and after our digital photography unit it is so exciting to be able to share a copy of their finished product with them!
